Chester Mackson, professor emeritus of Michigan State
University, was recently inducted into the Alumni School of Packaging Hall
of Fame.
Mackson served as chairman of the school from 1977 to 1987. Prior to his work there, he was a professor in agricultural engineering at MSU for 30 years. Attending the award ceremony were School of Packaging faculty and staff, alumni board of directors, scholarship students and members of Mackson's family including his wife Marilynn, sons John, David (Rachel), Mike and Jeff (Amy), and granddaughters Jennifer, Grace, Emily and Natalie Mackson. |

Thomas J. Hajec, C.P.P. has been inducted into the MSU School of Packaging Hall of Fame. Tom has been a long-time supporter of the School of Packaging. He is an active member of the School’s Industry Advisory Committee. Tom is a member and officer of the West Michigan IoPP Chapter. He has played a key role in helping students through his involvement with the IoPP mentor program and has worked with the IoPP Student Chapter. |
